ADF&G Division of Sport and Commercial Fisheries Reports
http://www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/pubs/index.cfm
Read a description of and learn the codes for each report series found in the database at http://www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/pubs/dsp_ReportTypes.cfm. Review search tips at http://www.sf.adfg.state.ak.us/pubs/dsp_help.cfm. "Basic" searches author, title, year published, abstract and keywords automatically and as a phrase search. "Advanced Search" gives you drop down options, ability to narrow to a specific report series, and option of adding Boolean strings (up to 3). Works best in Internet Explorer. "Associated File" field narrows the search to those records with a PDF attached. All searches assume a wild card or truncation once you have two characters entered and are not case sensitive. Avoid punctuation unless you want to use in search and search authors by last name first. Full text searches the entire document. Help menus are useful but a little outdated.
